Driver of The Year Award

The NRMCA Ready Mixed Truck Driver of the Year Award acknowledges

the significant contribution of ready mixed concrete truck drivers to the growth

and success of individual companies and the ready mixed concrete industry.

Environmental Excellence Awards

NRMCA's Commitment To Environmental Excellence Awards Competition,

now in its 11th year, salutes companies that have not only met but surpassed

governmental compliance measures and demonstrated a commitment to

environmental excellence through plant and staff investment.

Environmental Innovation Award

NRMCA is looking for creative ideas and concepts that have played a
part in protecting the environment. This award is offered in two categories,
for ready mixed concrete producers and manufacturers.

Fleet Graphics Award

The Fleet Graphics Award Program was established by the NRMCA

Operations, Environmental & Safety Committee to honor the best ready mixed

concrete truck paint and decal schemes, as well as individual company's

methods of promoting professionalism and positive public image.

Joseph E. Carpenter Award

Joseph E. Carpenter of Rinker Materials was instrumental in the formation

and early operation of the NRMCA Committee on Maintenance.

In his honor, the OES Committee singles out Carpenter Award recipients

for outstanding lifetime contributions in the operations, safety or

environmental fields of the ready mixed concrete industry.

National Mixer Driver Championship

NRMCA’s National Mixer Driver Championship is sponsored by the Truck Mixer Manufacturers Bureau and is held annually in conjunction with ConcreteWorks. Competitors include state rodeo champions as well as NRMCA member company champions from around the nation who compete to be the “Best of the Best”. The champion is selected based on a cumulative score derived from competitions that include a driving challenge course, visual vehicle inspection, reaction-time test and 2-hour written examination. Awards are presented for the top three finishers.

Safety Contest

One of NRMCA's most popular award recognition programs, the

Safety Contest is a safety performance and incentive/award program aimed

to foster safe practices at ready mixed concrete plants across the nation.
