Nearest Airport
The closest airport is Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) which is located approximately 6.5 miles from the hotel and DFW International Airport (DFW) located approximately 19 miles from the hotel.  

Transportation Options 

Airport to Hotel: 
The hotel does NOT provide shuttle service to/from the airport. There are multiple transportation options within the Dallas region including Lyft and Uber.  

Omni Dallas Hotel’s preferred transportation service provider is Four Seasons Limo & Car Service. Pricing is as follows: Arrivals/departures from DFW International Airport is $90*. Arrival/departures from Love Field Airport is $65*. *Price quote is for sedan-only transfers. Price may increase with SUV requests. Make reservations online, or for additional information, call Four Seasons Limo at 214-750-5466.

Cancellation Policy
Full cancellation refunds, less a $125 administrative fee, will be extended until Monday, October 27, 2025. All cancellations after Monday, October 27, 2025, will not be refunded. Fee cancellations cannot be transferred to a future class. Substitutions can be made at any time with no penalty. Registration cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing to: [email protected]. 

NRMCA reserves the right to cancel this event. A class confirmation, confirming the course will run as scheduled, will be sent via email no later than COB, Monday, October 27, 2025. It is advisable not to book your airfare (unless it’s fully refundable) until you receive the class confirmation. In the unlikely event the class is cancelled, NRMCA will refund the entire registration fee, but is not responsible for airline or hotel reservation fees. You are responsible for making and paying for your own hotel and travel arrangements.

Course Description

Having a good manager can change your life. According to a 2023 study of more than 34,000 people in 10 countries, sixty-nine percent of people claim that their manager has as much impact on their mental health as their spouse or significant other. Fifty-one percent say that a manager has more impact on their health than their doctor. This course, redesigned in 2024, explores three key dimensions of supervision: supervising yourself, supervising your time, and supervising others.

Course Objectives

  • Develop an understanding of one’s strengths and opportunities as a supervisor and a leader.
  • Gain exposure to models on time management and, the skill/will matrix.
  • Build skill in leading others through compassionate leadership and DiSC communication style.
  • Develop skill with identifying and managing conflict at work.
  • Discuss the impact of generations at work and mental health at work.
